How to trade on Binance for new users, from signing up to learning how to use the app
This guide will help new users create a Binance account, install the app, and learn the basic operations. By following this course, you’ll master 90% of the basic knowledge needed for cryptocurrency trading and become confident managing your trades.
Step 1: Go to Binance and Sign Up
Click the button below to get started.
Make sure the invite code TRADZAR appears during sign-up.
If you do not use an invite code, you will not be able to receive a lifetime trading fee discount on your account.
Step 2: Enter Your Email or Phone

- Choose email or phone number.
- Check the terms and conditions box.
- Click Next.
Step 3: Verify Your Email or Phone

- Enter the 6-digit verification code sent to your email or phone.
If you don't receive it:
- Wait 1 minute and click Resend Code.
- Check your Spam or Promotions folder.
- Make sure the email or phone is not already registered.
Step 4: Set a Password

- Enter a password that is at least 8 characters long and includes at least one number and at least one uppercase letter.
- Click Next.
Step 5: Confirm Referral ID

- Ensure TRADZAR is displayed.
- For app users, you may manually enter the referral ID "TRADZAR" before continuing.
Step 6: Install the Binance App (Required for KYC)
Without KYC verification, you cannot deposit, trade, or withdraw. So you need to install the Binance app.
From this point on, you will use the Binance mobile app instead of the website to become a skilled trader.
Using the mobile app is just for convenience—all features are also available on the PC version.
- Open the app and log in with your newly created account.
Step 7: Choose Your Mode
After opening the Binance app and logging in for the first time, you will see a screen like this.

- Tap "I'm familiar with crypto" (recommended) for full trading features.
- "I'm new to crypto" limits leverage to 5x and gives you no advantages at all.
| Mode | Max Leverage |
|---|---|
| I'm new to crypto(Lite) | 5x |
| I'm familiar with crypto(Pro) | 100x |
Step 8: Start KYC Verification
- Select the type of ID you want to use (ID card, passport, or driver's license).
- We recommend the ID card for simplicity.

- Use "Take Pictures" (directly capture photos).
- Avoid "Upload Photos", as it may take 24+ hours if errors occur.
- Scan front and back of your ID.
- Take a selfie following the on-screen prompts:
- Open your mouth
- Wink
- Turn your head left and right
Step 9: Confirm Your Information

- This step isn’t very important—just confirm your personal information quickly and accurately.
- Carefully confirm your name, date of birth, address, and all other details requested by Binance.
- Double-check everything, then confirm and click "Next" to continue.
Step 10: Check Verification Status
- Tap the profile icon in the app.
- You will see "Under Review" status initially.
- Wait 3-5 minutes for the verification process to complete.
After Verification is Complete:

- When you see "Verified" in green, your KYC is complete.
- Now you can deposit, trade, and withdraw without restrictions.
